T arrow up two I didn’t even notice that!
That just shows that you can still fumble your perception check even with a saint like wisdom score bonus like mine.
Wait, so the Eldercash we normally see is the FATHER of the young Eldercash, not a flashback to his younger self? You have quite a sense of story, Deptford!
What nonsense! The young Eldercash whose story we are learning HAS to be the Eldercash we all know! After all, that is his nemesis-to-be, Leibowitz, helping him escape to adventure there.
It’s still a flashback. Don’t worry.
…It’s just the fact that Eldercash had a wealthy, eccentric, adventuresome father himself that’s throwing people off.
Actually, it makes more sense if young Eldercash is the son of the Eldercash we know. This mean that Leibowitz has kiddnapped his son, and presumably got him killed (from the “Last time he saw him” line), giving him the perfect motivation to kill Francis. And why else would Eldercash look so sad?

…Okay, yeah, that does make sense. It’s still all a little ambiguous, but it makes more sense that way.
I guess I’ll just wait and see.
